Max is a valuation professional in Hong Kong with multinational credentials gained in Hong Kong, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He is a valuation specialist with multidisciplinary knowledge in accounting (as a qualified accountant), valuation (with a credential recognised in the United States and an official credential for conducting statutory valuation in the People’s Republic of China), and finance (from his solid academic background).
Max has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, focusing mainly on business valuation and transaction advisory. He has played a leading role in many prominent valuation projects, including the valuation of global premium brands; World Bank-funded utility projects; oil and gas extraction projects in the United States and Canada; infrastructure projects under build-operate-transfer models; solar and wind power plants; banks; a logistics hub in Singapore; water treatment plants in Australia; a toll road in the United Kingdom; a container port in Brazil; and a premium food manufacturer in Spain.

The valuations covered companies across sectors including artificial intelligence, agriculture, retail, mining, internet, automotive, education, financial services, multimedia, real estate, property management, entertainment, electronic equipment, and infrastructure.
Max obtained a Master’s Degree in Statistics from the University of Hong Kong and Bachelor Degree in Business (Finance) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Max holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, Chartered Valuation Surveyor from Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Accredited in Business Valuation (issued by AICPA) and China Certified Public Valuer.

Jimmy has over 10 years of experience in the professional advisory industry, with a focus on providing independent valuation opinions, value consulting and cross-border transfer pricing services. Before joining Valtech Valuation, he has served PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong and another sizable valuation advisory firm in Hong Kong.
Jimmy has advised his clients from a wide industry spectrum, such as state-owned utility conglomerate, global energy group, century-long retail chains, renowned media group, tech start-ups. He has advised on technical issues under various valuation contexts, including:
